I have more problems with my Server 2012 R2 RDS deployment. After
setting up RDS and creating a new collection, I am not able to see icons
of applications that I publish for the Collection. I have checked the
WMI authority according to a couple of forum postings, but that did not
fix it. My server did not have the TS Web Access Computer group, so I
manually created the group on the local server and added the local
computer to the group. I checked authority on the
\Windows\Web\RDWEB\Pages directory & gave RDWebAccess the proper
authorities according to some posts elsewhere. One thing that I did
notice is that I did not have and RDP folder in the Pages directory, as
the posts indicated. I created the folder, but still nothing. I notice
that when I publish the apps, no icons are being placed in the RDP
directory.
I can access the system fine with RDP. Another
business partner for our customer is trying to install & setup Great
Plains on the system and having issues setting up desktops in GP for
different users. They found where publishing the app is the solution.
Need help getting so I can publish an app and have it show up in RDWeb
Access.
Even after re-installing RDS, and looking at RDWeb
with the default Collection configuration, the default apps do not show
up in RDWeb Access.
We have all the RDS services setup on a single computer. The computer does not have AD and is not a Domain Controller, but is part of the domain.
