Shiny new install of RDS 2012 R2 VM's with 2 session hosts and a gateway (also VM's). When any user opens a remoteapp, there is about a 30 second delay before you are presented with the app. During the logon if you click "details", it always says"please wait for remote desktop configuration". I have performed the following:
- Large Send Offload V2 (IPv4)-- set to disable
- TCP/UDP Checksum Offload (IPv4) --change from Rx & Tx Enabled to disabled
- Virtual Machine Queues -- set to disable
This made login time about 5 minutes. Undid the above above changes. I also disabled the following on the VM settings of the NIC->hardware acceleration:
- VMQ
- IPSec offloading
Also set these back as the login time was around 5 minutes. No GPO's and no NIC teaming. Any ideas as to what is taking so long or where i should look?
