We paid and installed a certificate with intermediate certificate, but RDP server keeps recreating self-signed certificate

We've installed a wildcard certificate for our domain within Remote Desktop / Certificates inside the certificate manager using the computer account. We've also imported the intermediate certificate. However, each time we log back into the server, a self-signed certificate is created that expires in 6 months. The wildcard certificate is still shown in the same container as the self-signed one, and the public certificate is valid until 10/8/2014, and it also says "You have a private key that corresponds to this certificate." We followed the same procedure for a second server, and we're not having any problems with that server. Does anyone have any ideas as to what we can try? Thank you.
